The arts come alive in the bustling city of Kelowna with a multitude of festivals that pay tribute to creativity.  Starting young, children have the opportunity to get their hands wet with sparkles at the Fat Cat Children's Festival.  Held each year in City Park, performers take to the stage to evoke a celebration of art and family.  In July and August Parks Alive, offering live music and cultural experiences, breathes life into the lakefront and downtown core.

Kelowna Biking


Kelowna offers a wide range of bike trails for riders of all skill levels. Take the Abbott Bike Path for an easy ride through town, perfect for the whole family, experience stunning lake views from Knox Mountain and the Paul's Tomb Trail or test your skills riding the McDougall Rim.

Kelowna Boating


Located on the shores of Lake Okanagan which spans 100km, Kelowna is one of the most desirable locations for boating and water sports. Take the whole family out for an afternoon of wakeboarding and waterskiing, enjoy the thrill of jetskiing around the lake or spend the whole day exploring the many hidden coves from the comfort of a houseboat. The Okanagan Valley provides an excellent selection of campgrounds, many within a short drive from the city center. Fintry Park and Bear Creek are two of the most popular choices for families, so bring your RV, camper trailer or a tent and enjoy the great outdoors.



For the adults in your group, Kelowna offers two casinos with all your favourite games like poker, blackjack, slots, bingo and roulette. The downtown casino is located in the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort and is within easy walking distance of many of our resort accommodations.

The summer calendar in Kelowna is filled with festivals and cultural events. Experience the Okanagan Wine Festival, the Center of Gravity Games or bring your children to the popular Fat Cat Children's Festival. Make sure to reserve your tickets early as many of these events sell out.

Kelowna  Golf


For the golfer in your group, Kelowna is the perfect destination. The city offers more than 14 courses in and around the city. Each course offers a unique mix of desert terrain and stunning orchard and lake views. For the serious golfer, Predator Ridge which hosted the Export ‘A’ Skins Game in 2000 is a must. Parks & Beaches

Kelowna is home to a large number of public beaches, each popular with a different crowd. Families enjoy the activity of Rotary Park Beach or the children’s water park at Hot Sands Beach in City Park. Gyro Beach is a great teens and young adults and is always busy with volleyball games. If you’re looking for somewhere a little quieter, stop by Tugboat Bay, next to the dolphin fountain.

Kelowna Skiing


Only a short 45 minute drive to both Big White and Silver Star Ski Resorts, Kelowna offers an inexpensive alternative to staying on-mountain. Each year these Okanagan ski resorts receive 20+ feet of fluffy champagne powder. If you have never experienced skiing in the Okanagan, then you're missing out.

Kelowna Wineries


World renowned for spectacular vineyards and award winning wine, the Kelowna wineries are a must see for any visitor. Excellent guided tours are offered by many of the popular wineries such as Mission Hill, Summer Hill and Quail's Gate. These tours include wine tastings and gift shops full of specialty wine products.
